Description
A thermocouple is an electrical device consisting of two dissimilar electrical conductors forming electrical junctions at differing temperatures. A thermocouple produces a temperature-dependent voltage as a result of the thermoelectric effect, and this voltage can be interpreted to measure temperature.
The thermocouples have a much larger measurement range than thermistors, this one on our website has a measurement range of -50℃ to +600℃. And there are several types of thermocouple, this is a type K, which means Chromel for “+”, and Alumel for “–”.
This thermocouple works great with our Grove – High Temperature Sensor.
